He is aware of how I feel towards her, and agrees that she can be rude at times. I no longer go to hang out with her with him, and leave the room when she calls. It, of course, would be kind of unnatural if I got along with EVERYONE. I respect his wish to include her, as she is his friend, and their friendship has nothing to do with me. I’m not insecure so her presence doesn’t bother me, it’s just that her rudeness is seemingly always present.

And it’s presenting a real challenge for me to avoid her, especially because it’s so untraditional and unconventional. If it were just an obnoxious guy friend I’d feel much better somehow because I wouldn’t have to dance around the norm of usually all the girls in the party bonding and getting ready together!

I don’t know if it’s the typical case that groomsmen have to be close friends of the bride as well, but wouldn’t that be so much more convenient! Haha.
