Female solotravelers: What is your best strategy to ward off unwanted attention

Lol? Im literally not talking about sexism I'm talking about carrying forward disdain from past experiences. How about this. How about YOU imagine this scenario. This conversation goes topic: how do you learn to drive in foreign countries when renting a car? Person 1: I've noticed Asians are bad drivers, I try not to drive in those countries. Me: hey I'm sure your experiences are valid but is it really a good thing to hold that mindset for an entire race?

Do you see the parallels? I'm glad you're defending women I'm sure you have good intentions. Women are smaller and more vulnerable by nature and in the context this thread started with, are rightful to be concerned and have methods of dealing with bad men. The issue here is intellectual though as I am talking about carrying this mindset forward. This is not rightful concern, this is an assumption aka, ignorance. When there is a matter of safety involved, as in where this conversation started, then of course this is permitted but a policy like this in general is simply, wrong.

Men injecting ideas? What ideas have I injected? I'm questioning one person's views I'm not preaching a new social hierarchy...

Lets play the imagine game. If we all held onto reasons to dislike each other and had no compassion, well, look who's president of the US. Look at brexit. Look at what is happening and trends like these are causing. This person is less likely to take you, or me seriously simply because we are men. Women want equality? Well then. Read the word. Equal. Not looking down on me because their drunk pal Dave gets thirsty when drunk.

Their experiences from solo traveling shouldn't influence their view on a fucking username... Like do you really feel it justified that what a loud minority do affects how you are perceived as?

This made me question my beliefs and I love it when that happens, so thanks.
