Female Veterans

Thank you! I’m just trying to see if there is a fair shot at getting 100 ptsd. Since I personally don’t know any females rated at 100. But I do know about dozen males rated at 100. I know it’s based on symptoms. But my symptoms are pretty bad. And I’ve struggled for year. I’ve had some doctors tell me I need to just tough it out. Or it’s normal for moms to be stressed. And it almost feels like my doctors (not all. But at 3 of them) just disregard it. I know ratings don’t or shouldn’t have anything be to do with gender or orientation. But I got my rating back in 2013. And from my friends in the service and people I have met in the VA it started to amaze me. I tried looking for data and of course it’s not separated by gender, again I don’t think it should be. I was just hoping to find people like you. Who disprove what I was thinking. My intention is not to be whinny, and sorry if it comes out that way. Just trying to get myself informed instead of angry at the system. So thank you.
