Festival charges double ticket price for 'non-people of colour'

I disagreed with your statement that if an economic solution exists, that means the problem wasn't based in racial context

I didn't say that. Like i mentioned multiple times you are reading into it what you want. I made a comment about their actions, not my personal feelings on the topic of equity and race.

if the "fix" for the problem involves money then the problem is economic not racial

this was their idea, not mine.

if the "fix"

cheaper tickets, their idea

the problem

economic inequity in their community

involves money

$10-20

the problem

economic inequity in their community

is economic

$10-20

not racial

race sorting ticket sales had zero impact towards the problem they want to address.

Their "fix" ( race sorting ticket sales) does nothing at all to address their identified problem (equity). Setting ticket prices at $10 accomplishes the exact same thing and is less stupid.

Like you said, the people organizing this are morons. All this "fix" did was limit the income they can generate, for good causes or not, and piss people off. If anything it hurt their cause and hurts bringing awareness to issues they want to talk about, because it looks stupid.
