I am trying to do the 7 centuries achievement, so I thought Britanny could be fun, and it was, until I got conquered by the British empire.

I was like, well, it's kinda fun, and then a guy with like 15k levies started attacking us, trying to independice Brittany. Well, he actually made it, but the weird thing (or maybe not, that's why I'm asking), it's that when he became independent, I started playing as other character. I lost all my gold, prestige, score, etc...

I'm asking: Is this normal? Is the achievement in danger? If not I don't care really, but man, this playthrough was one of the most fun and cool that I've ever done, and this has fucked it all.
