A few months passes in the blink of an eye

This post is a great reminder that weight loss is a marathon not a sprint!

But for all those reading, I'd just like to point out that it's very easy to think "I've been eating healthily all week, I can treat myself on the weekend with a food delivery"

Just remember to be mindful of those calories!

Even if you're going to the gym every day, and have a large deficit of 1000 or so calories, the average pizza delivery is about 2200 calories just for the pizza, and if you have sides/calorific drinks on top of that, you could be easily reaching 4K calories.

Just something to be mindful when people are experiencing a plateau and think, well, on 6/7 days I'm eating really healthily, why aren't I losing weight!

Even an hours gym work a day would struggle to keep up with those extra calories!

"You can't outrun a poor diet" someone said around here, and it really is a great quote to keep in mind :)

Not meaning to be overly negative, just I think everyone experiences a similar thing to this post where you are eating healthily, and time passes really quickly at some stage, but you aren't actually losing much weight because of big "cheat days" or large calorie meals that really sabotage your healthy efforts =]
