It sold many the first day but we were all bamboozled tbh. We all thought this game would be good from trailers but most of us realized how so much things from the story and gameplay were missing .

But why must it be like that? Why does it have to be ‘well, if you don’t like where the franchise is headed then play another?’ I grew up on this franchise and the fact that Square dished out a poorly made game is absolutely unfair and I don’t understand how you or other ‘fans’ don’t see that.

My problem is not mainly with the direction that Square Enix is going with the franchise, it’s also how fans can’t put their foot down and boycott them for trying to swindle us.

They knew exactly what they were trying to do but got major backlash and then tried to give us more content MONTHS later to redeem themselves? They need to stop and focus on future titles and focus on not doing this bullshit again.
