Fibroid grew back, no pain, Dr. wants to perform a hysterectomy

It's a major organ and this surgery won't come without long term side effects. Every woman I've known to have it done is now morbidly obese and looks older than their years. I'm a super sensitive person to medications, supplements, foods and I don't want to even imagine how my body will react.

Even keeping my ovaries doesn't guarantee I won't need HRT. I'm on zero meds now. Dr's are now finding women who get castrated under the age of 50 have a higher chance of heart disease, obesity and diabetes. All of that runs in my family.

Besides, I'm not bleeding heavy, not in any pain. I see this surgery as female mutilation. I'll probably get downvoted for this, but hey you asked.
