Info about the tournament
Where: Athena system, Darboux Orbital.
When: 20:00 GMT, 21:00 BST (UK), 22:00 CEST (EU), 13:00 PDT (LosAngeles), 14:00 MDT (Denver), 15:00 CDT (Chicago), 16:00 EDT (Washington)
Classes: Light class ships are Sidey and Eagle. Medium class ships are Viper, Cobra, Imperial Courier, Diamondback Scout, Diamondback Explorer. Outfitting is not restricted.
Shipyard: You can buy Sidey, Eagle, Viper and Cobra in Athena and all the Light and Medium class ships in Varpet nearby. (Except Courier, you will have to hunt for that in Imperial Space)
Outfitting: You can outfit literally anything in Varpet and almost everything in Athena - they do not have 2B SCBs, 3D Sensords, and 4A Thrusters and Powerplant. Athena also has bulkheads for: Sidey, Eagle, Viper, Cobra.

Please make sure that your name is identical to your CMDR name. Lose the CMDR part though. (e.g. my name on TS will be "Rhea")How will it look like: Each class will be split into two groups, each group will have one or two Refs (Lynk and Rhea being the group managers) and contestants will fight against each other in a queue listed below, which is carefully crafted in order to not have one person fight two fights in sequence for necessary time for repair/rearm/group-switching. Though it may still happen that the fights will seem like in sequence, due to having more than one fight at a time. Especially towards the end of the tournament when there are only a few contestants left.

a) Be there early enough so we can prepare for it, get to the fighting zone, Refs will friend everyone just in case of instancing issues, etc.
b) Please try to not talk over Refs during the fight, if they say Clear comms, be quiet.
c) If you're a new player ensure that you are familiar with wing functionality and supercruise travel. FDev tutorials and our BasicTraining.
d) The lineup pictures above are correct, nobody has a head start in the 2nd round, it is the most fair tournament that you could imagine without going round robin (that would be over 120 duels) Also the last fight after the finals states "if necessary" - this means, that if the winner of previous duel would now lose, he would have the same number of losses as the 'winner of losers' - therefor they should fight again to determine the winner. If there is a draw, they will fight again until there isn't a draw. (The other class will be ongoing, so it should not prolong the tournament.)

f) The '1st rule' joke stops being funny, when there are 8 out of 10 comments about it already.
