why do Fil-ams want to be considered Filipino so bad?

In both posts, you are painting Filipino Americans with a broad brush based on whatever messed up online content creators you are watching, and you are using this false generalization to intentionally exclude Filipino Americans from having any sort of access to the Filipino identity. If you disagree that this is what you’re doing, read your post’s title to yourself out loud.

I am free to share my experiences from Fil-Ams.

Many people in both posts have been kind enough to share their personal experiences as well, because they differ from your presumptions. Some people have clearly taken the time to be very thoughtful and empathetic with their responses. But you completely ignored their point. Yet you have the nerve to reiterate that you “are free to share your experiences”. You haven’t even shared your ‘experience’ at all, just a bunch of general statements based on, from all that I can gather, some video content (?) that some terrible influencer filmed in the Philippines and posted. I think? I don’t even know what your experience is, you haven’t even described it!
