Filco Majestouch 2 with Granite, the best keyboard I've ever owned

Started with a Quickfire XT. I really liked the blues, but there were some quality control issues that bothered me a little. A few of the keys were weird sounding, and the control key was weirdly sticky. I got some Vortex PBTs that imporved it, but decided to return it because of the issues and used the opportunity to try something new.

Next I got a Novatouch, added my PBTs to it and typed on it for a month or so. I missed my clicky switches and found Topre to be pretty lame. I still think one day I might try Topre out again with a better board but who knows.

Next I saw a flash sale on elitekeyboards for a Filco MJT 2 Ninja for only $100! I picked it up, in the meantime I traded the Novatouch for a KUL ES87 w/ Clears. This was a vast improvement and I really liked the actuation force and actually got used to the quieter thock to the point that I preferred it. I also picked up Granite and added it to the KUL, which was nice. I realized though, that as an accounting major, despite the bias of /r/mk the TKL life was not for me. Alas, back to the numpads.

Next I picked up a Unicomp with Buckling Springs. Awesome board, that's about all I can say.

I decided recently to sell the KUL even though I liked it, and added the Granite to my Filco. It's amazing! So good I've been neglecting my Unicomp and will be selling that too, because the other thing I've realized throughout all of this is that it's actually kind of dumb to have so many keyboards. It makes me anxious thinking I need to type on them all equally. Personally, I'm better off with just 1.

I think that DSA with MX Blues is an amazing pairing. Typing on this for the last week or so has made me remember why I like mechanical keyboards so much.
