It's basically just a state of mind, do what makes you happy, don't live your life to the expectations of women. So much of my time was spent trying to impress and please women, and I just wasn't going to do that anymore. If a chick wanted to hang out, that's cool, but I'm going to do what I want to do. If a chick wanted to fuck, that's cool, but I'm not attaching myself to anything, so she should understand that.

You don't even have to call it MGTOW because of the negative connotation with that term. I remember my next door neighbor asked me why there wasn't anyone in my life. I explained to him that I got burned and was just sick of the relationship game, so I chose to live my life for me, solo.
