Right. So your comment of “potentially dangerous” is correct in a way, a pit could definitely be a dangerous dog, among so many other breeds if they’re left to their own devices - the issue is generalizing all pit owners. You know the whole thing of the worst news will get posted first, I think all the worst news about a breed is posted about pits - Their the breed is unlikely to have great owners in some parts of the world, that is a problem. However, I think that the Apprehension is posting negative things about a specific breed to the point that no one loving will adopt them. We should not misrepresent any dog of any breed regardless of statistics when those statistics are met with trainers, adoptive dog owners, etc. I know the statistics so please spare me. I am just saying WE domesticated them. It is OUR responsibility to take care of them.
