Finally finished Fallout 4 main story

Not the other guy but overall the story was really disconnected.

The Railroad's plan is kind of dumb overall and there isn't much to their quest line and you spend half the time working for the Institute.

The Institute quest line makes sense at first they want more power fair enough, everything else however (the continued fev resource for decades. Creating human like synths then denying their existence and using them as slave labor for some reason. Replacing random people such as Sammy in Goodneighbor without any real explanation to it all.)

The Brotherhood makes perfect sense but ends up just being about the same as what we got in Fallout 3. Get a giant robot to blow enemy up.

Minuteman.... they aren't really anything.

Then you add in the lack of Towns (with only Goodneighbor and Diamond City really having any content) and none of it having anything to do with the main story. Places like the Combat Zone and East City Downs not functioning like they were clearly meant to and instead just another place to kill raiders. Towns dead prior to the game like Quincy and Uni Point rather then us being able to waltz in and solve the problems ourselves. Raiders, Gunners and Mutants everywhere and all you can do is shoot them for the most part.

I'm bringing all this after starting New Vegas for the first time a few days ago. There its not just kill loot return we actually have options, using skills that add in new dialog, new ways to get through quests.

Oh man wasn't meant to go into a rant like this was just frustrated after NV CTD'd again, if there is one thing FO4 is good at for me at least is that it does Just Work. I've probably crashed more in 24 hours of New Vegas then I have in 1000+ hours of 4.
