Finally took the plunge (again) and signed up for pocketderm/cureology. Here's my progress from July until today. If you're considering joining them, DO IT!

In the beginning of 2014 I started noticing closed comedomes pop up all over my forehead and sides of my nose and mouth. I began using pocketderm in the beginning of november 2014 and my skin got extremely clear! I wish I had more pictures from that time (that aren't makeup and instagram filters) but I've gone through two phones and several moves. Because of one of those moves, a huge breakup yay, I quit subscribing to pocketderm to get my finances and shit together. My skin was good for a while but the comedomes started coming back around May 2015. I tried doing all the things I had done the first time (because it worked the first time right...) before signing back up to now Cureology. I'm so glad that I did! As of right now my skin is totally smooth and I'm only dealing with PIH and some scaring.

Pre-PD routine:

Wash with Neutrogena bar soap

Maybe use Dr Lin's gel moisturizer

Maybe use CVS 50 spf clear zinc sunscreen

Current routine:

Cleanse with Neutrogena Gentle Cleanser and a konjac sponge

Apply pocketderm (PM only)

Apply Dr Lins gel moisturizer

Apply CVS 50 spf zinc sunscreen

I'd say the biggest things that have made a difference (besides the medication) has been using sunscreen daily, using a konjac sponge for physical exfoliation, and switching cleansers to the more gentle one. I used to attempt using sunscreen every day but now I do not leave the house without it. My konjac sponge has literally become my best friend. My skin has gotten a thousand times smoother with it. I love my new cleanser too because my skin doesn't feel tight at all after using it, and it's so nice and foamy with the konjac sponge. Seriously guys, if you're considering pocketderm/cureology, just try it! It absolutely changed my life. My skin would not be this clear without it, and I know that for a fact because I've tried twice. This is a throwaway but I'll keep checking it if anybody has any questions or anything! Thanks for reading yall
