Finance Minister says Canadians should get used to short-term employment

I feel even worse for the generation before us because people just roll over and accept what happens in our generation.

I noticed there are two types of people

"Ahh I have to work 3 jobs now and 2 of those are contract on term to support myself, but I enjoy my part time work at starbucks and don't mind working minimum wage for the things I like to do".

Which is okay when you are young and want experience. But later on when they complain they don't have money to buy a home, have kids, afford a vehicle, eat healthy, it is like instead of complaining about stuff, maybe move to a different company, move to somewhere with better opportunity, negotiate a raise..etc. Instead they just complain.

And

I never will do that job because it doesn't pay enough, even though I graduated and never had a job before.

Go get some work experience, even if you have to get work at the company you want to work for (even if it isn't related). If you can't just work in the meantime, don't keep gaps in your resume. Who gives two shits if you work at McDonalds. People aren't judgemental as you think (here in Alberta no one gives a crap where you work. If you told people you are unemployed people would try to help).
