Financial Abortion Rebuttal

Completely borderline impossible to implement for many different reasons, but I think that requiring explicit consent (for example, in the form of a contract or some such) be given by both parties in advance would solve SOME recurrent issues here. Of course, it would also create additional ones too, not denying it. This isn’t a perfect solution by any means.

But aside from ensuring both parties are informed and voluntarily consenting to having a child, aside from the myriad aspects of one party having complete dominion over the decision, this would also likely somewhat reduce the incidence of children being born into sub optimal circumstances.

Again, far from a bulletproof suggestion, and one that would no doubt also create some additional potential problems/issues. More a starting discussion suggestion as opposed to a solid proposal.

But I also don’t think it takes a genius to see the potential benefits of making actually accidental (or alternatively, “accidental”) pregnancy less widespread.
