6-8 units/credits = half time

9-11 units/credits = 3/4 time

12+ units/credits = full time

Minimum you need for financial aid is half-time status/enrollment. Actual course hours could vary depending on course/university.

Determine what 8 credit hours translates to in your school. if it’s less than half time status, than the decision is valid. If this is the case, then you can take an easy filler course, try an easy on-line one. This happens all of the time and why people search out “filler” courses.

If they’re wrong and 8 hours translates to at least half-time status, then you have nothing to worry about and they need to correct your records and provide you with Financial Aid per your their agreements.

Sometimes when you are close to graduating, it impacts the amount you’re eligible for??... there could be something they haven’t shared with you? Or some weird glitch in the system that’s throwing your record off. I would call the first day they’re available. Good luck.
