Finding it harder and harder to pay a premium price for non-premium service

Yeah, I've been feeling the same way lately. I want to play this game, I want to be excited about the stuff coming up, but what is there to be excited about?

Next patch: some forgettable raid and more pointless grind for identical items with +5 ilvls.

Next expansion: a week or two of leveling, some utterly forgettable dungeons and raids. Pvp will be the same it's always been- get stunlocked, then bursted down unless you do the same to the other guy first.
Where's the selling point? I feel like the fat CEOs at Activision forgot this is a videogame and it's supposed to be fun somewhere along the way.

I played Classic and had an absolute BLAST. Why does the modern game feel so much worse in every single way?
Even with the bots, even with people selling leveling and BIS items from raids. Even with elitist minmaxers ruining things for a lot of people. Classic had many, many awesome moments.

I can't remember the last time I had fun in retail. But of course, classic will slowly turn into the same shit as retail too. The cash shop activision is trying to sneak in is just the first step.
