Hi, I don't have this disorder, but my mom does and so does someone who I use to be close with that actually decided to walk out of my life. My mom was still able to have relationships, and even got married although her relationships were no good with the kind of men she picked. My friend who had the disorder has had gfs who knew about it and didn't care about him having this disorder ...I even fell in love with him, but unfortunately, those feelings were not reciprocated.... I would just build a bond with someone u trust before telling them, because if my former friend had told me about his illness before I had grew feelings for him, I would have cut him off too.
