Fine Dining Questions

Use google to sort restaurants, then read the menu on ones that catch your. Also check out pictures of the food.

My advice for interviews is go in person, dressed in your coat with your knives. Every meaningful job I've gotten I showed up before they opened or during off hours, with my gear ready to work/stage. Usually I would show up in the morning and they would say come back at 3pm for your first shift.

And yes if you truly like doing this, try to go where the food is made from scratch and where your going to learn the most. I've worked everything from mom and pop, all the way to fine dining, and everything in between. It's the places that care about the food, who prep everything in house, and have high standards that I learned the most and had the best time, I couldn't wait to get to work everyday.
