Great post. There are going to be people who use this as another excuse why they can't do whatever they know is the best thing to do (meet people, date, eat right, exercise, etc) but honestly, I bet if you looked at the lives of those people before this, they would have had another excuse.

This is just one more excuse, albeit a decent one. But, when this is over, the excuse will be related to the social distancing being over and they aren't ready. And after a year, there will be another excuse.

A friend of mine just met one of the best women on Tinder he has ever met (no mental health issues, pretty, fun, exercises, eats right, etc). Sure they can't meet right away, but it's still good. I mean, he could be an idiot and take the view this is a bad time to date and sabotage it like some would do, but thankfully he is a high-energy person.
