Finnish citizens given universal basic income report lower stress levels and greater incentive to work

If I wrote down all the tasks onto a resume I did the 2+ years I worked as an Admin Assistant for a school district, I could probably write a novel. Everything was different every day.

Take calls from customers (parents), no two calls were even remotely the same and there is no easy way to automate it. Schools and their budgets operate independent of each other and it would require state or federal level mandates for any sort of fancy automated system you see national corporations use.

I dealt a lot with managing the books as well as tracking government funds which changes on a yearly basis depending on what the government does as well as expense reporting to oversight groups to ensure spending is correct.

The government doesn't just hand districts over big fat multi-million dollar checks each year. Funding comes from hundreds of different sources and the laws require it can only be spent on certain things and used for certain things which had to be written up and justified. Either I do this or my administrator has to do this. This is not something that can be automated as well.
