First crash today, what I did wrong, what I did right, what I would do differently next time (in the comments)

Let me tell you as a parent if you came round a blind corner at 20kph on a footpath, fell off in an attempt to avoid hitting my son and then suggested I use it as an opportunity to teach my him a lesson about awareness you'd have a serious problem. Lucky dad didn't clock you one. You're the idiot here plain and simple. Even people who otherwise wouldn't say a word about your dumb ass riding might perk up a little if you were to run over their child or pet.

I am not a risk adverse rider. But here's some general advise to avoid getting your ass kicked by angry parents, pet owners and generally avoid making the front page of your local paper and landing your dumb ass (and the wider eskate community by extension) in a lot of trouble. Slow down when you can't see what you're riding into. Slow down around kids. Slow down around animals. You can't be too careful in any of these situations. You're going to hurt someone if you continue riding like this.

Stupid write up. Slow the fuck down. That's your only takeaway.
