Not really. Sure have fun and make friends but HS isn't the real world so keep your eyes on the horizon. The dorky kid with yellow teeth that no one liked grows up to own a successful construction company. The cute girl from art class gets knocked up and has 3 kids by 22. The star running back blows out a knee and becomes a prison guard. The late bloomer with raggedy hair blossoms into a beauty. The shy girl with no friends goes to college and becomes the life of the party. The smart guy wrecks his car while under the influence and is a toddler again. What you do in HS means jack shit because it's not the real world. Sorry, but that's how it works. Everyone is pumped full of hormones, feels like they are under a microscope and all their insecurities get cranked to 11. After school you get a new start and those people who seemed like a big deal won't matter anymore. BTW those aren't hypothetical examples.
