First day no weed

I recently quit after being a habitual doper for at least 10 years. I actually do feel better, but I built it down. I didn't just quit out of the blue. For a while I was smoking 10 joints a day or so (dutch style), heavy stuff, zonked me out most of the day. I think it made me depressed in the long run, I really don't know how I managed to pass my undergrad.

Several years ago, I had a pretty epic dose of lsd, after that things became much clearer, I finished my masters and doing a postgrad now. After the lsd I quit smoking tobacco, and I only started toking in the evenings, before bed, a year after that I just quit weed.

It is a habit and it is hard to quit. And yes, it is addicting.

I'll still partake if a friend has some, but lately I get fucking paranoid when I smoke up, I really have to keep it mellow, my tolerance has gone.

One of the things that happened to me when I quit was the first few days I started having insane dreams again. I'm pretty sure THC does something to your sleep, now when I wake up I feel much more awake than if I'd hazed myself the night before.

Anyway, just my experience with the plant.

As they say, everything in moderation. It's hard though.
