First day of school in a Georgia town. One of the biggest virus hot zones in the world.

So they work year round like every other adult profession? And oh wow, they spend their own money on supplies? Like, gee I dunno, almost every other trade I can think of?

Must be fucking brutal, how do they do it?

when dipshits like yourself vote to cut budgets year after year after year.

I actually think they should be paid better but they also should really stop bitching. Most of em never worked a day outside their profession and think they have it harder than the rest of us, and it's obnoxious.

Teaching is a cushy job. There are tons and tons of people beating down school's doors to get a unionized teaching position. Its one of the most competitive job markets.

Its not that way because teaching is inordinately difficult ot unfair. It's because it's a secure, comfortable state job. Telling high schoolers what you thought about William Faulkner for $40K a year isn't a brutal hardship. It's a good gig.
