You need better reading comprehension. Find me somewhere in my comment where I said she was a "good girl" or a good person? The only thing I’m arguing is that she's not a monster.

Nothing is black and white in that universe, no one is completely good or evil. Even that shitbag David built up a thriving community in the first game, as horrible a person as he was to lots of people.

The way she killed Joel was because she obsessed about him for 4+ years. He caused her PTSD and years of suffering, so she acted like the monster she saw him as. It’s not justifiable, but it doesn’t make her a 100% monster.

I’m sure if someone brutally killed your mom or dad for doing something you believed was noble you might wanna take your time hurting them too. It wouldn’t make you a monster either, just human.
