So after much deliberation and arranging/re-arranging of parts I've decided to raise my budget and just take a little bit longer to get it put together. I did some more research on AMD's AM3+ socket and it seems that the intel chipset is a more solid investment, which of course means that I've changed the entire build. Thank you so much for all of your input. I agree with Lev_Astov about PSU's however and have kept my current choice. Another factor in my decision to raise my budget was nailing an interview yesterday and getting a better job that pays a bit more (I got a promotion before I even got hired!) so I'll have some extra cash soon to pump into the parts.
