First Time Reading, Book 3 Interlude Commanders

The villain’s foresight never ceased to chill her blood, schemes decades in the making coming to fruit at precisely the right time.

I'm not sure how much it's been mentioned up to Book 3, but there's a bunch of 'rumour making' going around in the psy-ops department. Usually just the odd sentence here and there.

Black's not exactly in the business of spreading accuracy if he can use a reputation to his advantage, right?

We get the occasional outside perspective like Kegan's in the Interludes, and I find that they're all usually in stark contrast to the main narrative. Which is hilarious.

Some Interlude perspective inevitably notes the sheer genius of this otherworldly scheme as they shiver in their boots over the legendary persona that is the Black Queen, and so on. Meanwhile, Cat is like... I have no idea what is going on, but I have goats and grenades, let's boogie!

please, paragraph breaks...

We're all hoping that EE has a fantastic editor lined up for a second and a third pass before this ends up being published :)
