OK. I''ll get the ball rolling! The character, E.B. Farnum, was played by none other than - Hi! I'm Larry, and that's my brother Darryl, and my other brother Darryl - William Sanderson, famously from (Bob) Newhart, circa 1990's. I was surprised and delighted to see him in a more serious role. And I've heard he returns in Deadwood: The Movie!

Keith Carradine's brother David (RIP) played in my favorite western show as a young man, Kung Fu. I did enjoy Keith's character, Wild Bill Hickok, but was shocked when he was suddenly assassinated at a card game table, and, by a favorite comedic character (Burt from Raising Hope) Garret Dillahunt, as Jack McCall (and as Francis Wolcott).

The list of actors that were once among those cast in the Star Trek franchise was not missed by this SyFy geek: Tom Nuttall, played by Leon Rippy, who portrayed L.Q. Clemonds in Star Trek: TNG S1 episode, The Neutral Zone. And the Borg Queen herself, Alice M. Krige! Finally, Deadwood was the town setting for an Ancient West holographic program on TNG: A Fistful of Datas.
