First Time User (Maeng Da Silver)

Yes, although "reverse tolerance" is a bit of a misnomer from what I understand, that's the best way to describe it. Not a dumb question at all because the idea of less being more is completely counter- intuitive. I, like probably most users, increased my dose initially with the onset of a tolerance, only to find even further diminished results and dysphoria and nausea. The morning dose gets me going, so to speak. The afternoon, with the effects of kratom still in my system, is just a booster dose. Taking too large of a booster dose has the same results of taking too large a morning dose (ie, not good).

I, too, get energy and motivation from kratom, but only if I get up and do things. It's a weird drug. If I sit around and be lazy, the effects are more sedative. If I'm up and working, more stimulating. Slight variation with different strains (greens tend to have a more sedative effect for me, for example; others report greens as being stimulating), but that's the basic gist. Again, a weird and often unpredictable drug that affects no two people the exact same way. Every user just has to learn what works best for him/her and go from there.
