I did a rewatch recently and after giving it time, Im still a little disappointed. I was never one to be vehemently critical or hateful, but for me, the last two seasons, and namely the very last season are not on the level. I was disappointed with how they handled some characters, the writing and dialogue just didn't carry the same intrigue or invoke the same feelings from me, sometimes it was a little contrived or the writing left me unconvinced, disenchanted, frustrated, it just wasn't on the same level, and some of it certainly felt rushed. Also, the payoff didn't feel very rewarding, it felt unearned so to speak. It wasn't the same show it used to be for me, I was still entertained though, it's fantasy, it's westeros, it's a song of ice and fire.
