Is this the first Vulfpeck album I won't buy ?

I feel like people are misunderstanding what I'm saying. I'm not disparaging Cory Wong as an individual or as a musician in general. He does have good solo music. In fact, his solo music is good enough to make you wonder why he's not playing like that at all on any of the Vulfpeck songs.

The closest you see Wong get to showing off is with FF doing a cover of "Under the Sea." But in any other technically impressive song he's playing underneath/with Mark so he kind of dissapears in the mix.

Maybe Stratton has a specific sound he wants out of Cory. It's just too bad it's very often the same sound. He's clearly capable of contributing more.
