In many places AA works as a catch all for many addictions, not just alcohol. While in theory it could be argued there should be a support group for every addiction. There may not be enough resources allocated to have 20-30 different groups for each one, and in enough locations to make them accessible for everyone. But where as SA comes from another person, and can therefore trigger group participants if in the same room as someone who resembles their assualter. Addiction is often inanimate. A drug, gambling, adrenaline, etc. Placing them together is significantly more feasible than groups like SA because their triggers likely aren't related to people, but their substance of choice.

You can stop repeating this. I'm not disagreeing with you on either of those things.
