Florida professor who tweeted Texans deserved Harvey for supporting Trump is fired

The Senate didn't convict Clinton because the national mood held that the charges were BS.

Nope. Bill Clinton had clearly committed perjury. People didn't even try to defend it. They just said it wasn't a big enough deal to impeach him over it and the public agreed.

If Trump were impeached, which is highly doubtful with a Republican Congress, the will of the people will likely once again make itself known. I don't see him being impeached, but if it happened, he's nowhere near as popular as Clinton was, and if they go for an Emoluments charge, he's almost certainly culpable.

LOL, do you think people give a flying fuck about Emoluments? Wait you're charging him from earning money from his company? Jesus Christ that's ridiculous.

As for war, I highly doubt it. For the second time in less than two decades, we had a Republican who got less votes than his opponent claim victory because of an old, shitty system that values acreage over people.

So? Your opinion of the system doesn't change the fact that almost everyone accepts the system as legitimate and has had similar elections all through out our history. You're just a sore loser whining about it after the fact.

Protests, as always, but nobody's launching an armed insurrection, because though the process may suck, it's how the laws work.

People will view it as a revolt against the coup. If there are protests they will be armed protests in the millions. Congress is about a million times less popular than Trump, what's going to stop armed protesters from walking up and arresting them for treason? The cops are going to take one look at that scene and flee.

If the Democrats can deal with getting legally fucked over without killing anybody,

How were the Democrats fucked over? Hillary tried to run up the yardage and didn't bother hitting the states that mattered to win the points. She's the Atlanta Falcons of football. She knew how the system worked and she fucked up. You have no one to blame but Hillary Clinton. Suck it up, cupcake.

the Republicans can suck it up and deal too. I have enough faith in them that I think most of them value the union over all.

Suck up what? A president being removed without high crimes being committed? That's utter bullshit. Since you've invested so much in removing Trump based on nothing you'll never have legitimacy in it. That's not the system we all agreed to, you don't get to remove Trump because you're butt hurt over losing. Worse the public will conclude that voting does mater and if voting doesn't mater and then only might maters. This will be viewed as corrupt Washington DC removing the man trying to reform it without the pretense that real crime has been committed. The whole system will crumble.

BTW, I think it's likely Trump will be removed from power. Meuller will arrest him on a trumped up charge or Congress will get rid of him before he ruins their corrupt system of pay offs.

Trump represents a threat to the system that's been making these corrupt jackasses in congress rich for 40 years now. The only question is how long they'll live after they do it. Congress is hated by pretty much everyone and their actions will never find favor with enough of the public.
