CRT is a perfect example, it's never been taught in Florida public schools and never will be, yet just this morning DeSantis was doing an email blast congratulating himself on saving our schools from it. And low information gullible voters eat it up. He might as well have taken credit for saving our schools from zombies, it's got the same basis in reality.
