I mean that point only works because their base is full of idiots who cant think further than the initial "gotcha" in this gimmick. If desantis wanted to set up some sort of system where they offload immigrants into other states that would be a lot better than this bullshit since it would give the blue states time to actually set up a place for them. States like Florida and Texas know about what influx they get normally and should prepare for it but they don't. Them randomly bussing these immigrants around while lying to them about where they're going means that the states receiving them have 0 prep time to prepare since they normally wouldn't be getting this influx.
