Flu toll mounts in California, with 42 deaths so far

I agree that getting a flu shot is important. I was unawares of how important it was and have never gotten a flu shot until this past year. I got the flu once when I was about 12. I wanted to maybe just throw this out there, as basic as it might sound, incorporating oregano oil into your self care routine can help guard you against the flu and other bad stuff. Some people take pills, but if you take oregano pills I would go to a doctor and get a recommended dosage, you can over do it if you aren't careful. I use oregano essential oil and only apply 2 drops to a bath or to the bottoms of my feet. Oregano is like lysol for the body, it does countless things including aiding your body in the mission to rid itself of bacteria and viruses like the flu. It's just basic health stuff like how eating beets are good for blood flow. I have only had the flu the one time, thankfully. And I am in no way trying to say that oregano will prevent the flu or that you don't need a flu shot. You definitely need a flu shot, I don't want people to think I'm saying vitamins cure the flu. Oregano has just helped me guard against germs and it helped with my allergies. Just thought it might be worth mentioning.
