It was technically in middle school, the very last day of sixth grade. There was this girl named Amber who was sort of a friend of mine, but she was really starting to piss me off at that point because she kept hitting me at random times, little slap here, punch on the arm there. I remember telling myself I was going to go off on her the next time she did it.

It's literally our last time of the school year getting onto the bus, and Amber's sitting in the row across from me, both of our seats are empty except for us. As this girl Kendra is walking by, Amber playfully slaps her in the face. Kendra did not play that way. She gave her one swift punch to the face, and I will never ever forget the sound her nose made as it busted, just like an egg hitting the floor and cracking. Instantly blood started pouring from her face and she hit the floor. I remember her crying and reaching out to me, but I just sat there in shock and didn't help her one bit. Neither girl returned for 7th grade.

There was an incident in 2nd grade where a boy hit one of my friends over the head with a guitar. Didn't see it, but it still kinda shocks me that most of our memorable fights happened well before high school.
