I want to follow Christ but I can't believe.

If you try to interpret the bible literally you will find it contradicts with reality quite often. So you will have to throw out reality /s

The other option is to not take the bible literally. There have been many Christians over the years who have tried this, most ended up labeled heretics. But if that doesn't bother you, I think there is great treasure and a great relationship with God awaiting you.

So you want to follow Christ's path of forgiveness? Then ask for forgiveness. If you want to turn water into wine, you'll have to redefine water and wine. The water is you, let Christ turn you into the good wine, and let whoever tastes you say, "you are good wine!"

But if you start living these parables in your real life, it stops becoming blind faith. You see that life is a journey from darkness to light. Then it becomes easy to believe. We move from death to life, Christ is the life, so anything that is life is Christ. You will find there are many Christ's in this world, you don't have to be Christian. Adam and Eve's Christ was the tree of Life, but they rejected it. We all have a choice. Make a choice. If Christ can appear as a tree to Adam and Eve, Christ can appear as anything to anyone. You just need the eyes to see.

If you "really, really want to follow Christ" then I would say your Christ is Jesus Christ. So follow him.
