[Follow up] Google's Maps is the service you should be the most worried about

Thanks for your reply, at first I wasn't sure if you were saying my post was useless, but I think (and want to) that you don't.

I agree with you that everyone here will know Google is tracking us, just the same way Facebook or Twitter do, but I think having a sense of scale is important. It is not the same to get your location recorded 3 times a day, than once every 2 or 3 minutes. People have to be aware of the excesive amount of data that's collected.

I stopped used Google services (aside from YouTube, which I'm still working on and got some great ideas on the previous post) and I'm now in the process of first deleting everything that's in my account, and then asking for the account itself to be deleted. I use ProtonMail and iCloud, which I think are a great combo of private + mainstream services.

If you're still using the same device, I'm 100% sure it has been fingerprinted and Google perfectly knows who you are in this device, unfortunately.
