I saw my ex-boss, the most well composed family oriented successful level headed cool nice dude ever in the history of bosses that I've ever had go completely unhinged during his divorce, like to the point that people were going "Damn I didn't know he was a person like THIS!"

And I sat back going "Are you mentally insane? His entire life is falling apart and you expect him to go about whistling and chirping good mornings at you? You short sighted egotistical prick? I've seen you punch a wall for losing a soda you nitwit stooge of a human."

People are always expecting others to understand when it's THEMSELVES doing it, but when it's someone else they always cover their mouth and murmur "oh my gosh."

Get off your high horse and let humans be human ffs
