FOMO, huh, yeah What is it good for? Absolutely nothing huh, say it again

Here I am just sitting on crypto I bought mostly 3&5 years ago and lending it out for 4-8% APR on Kucoin and wondering why people aren't steadily accumulating now-inconsequential amounts. No way to time it perfectly and we're still -80% or whatever. Take a look at the Eth logarithmic chart, which is more relevant given the supply curve. Eth PoS upgrade went smoothly, lot of friction got instantly eliminated from the market with that, with room to improve. Inflation is making assets like this, metals, stocks, bonds, real estate more appealing by the minute. Secure boring ETF investments or real estate, if applicable, first and spend maybe a last 5-10% of disposable money on moonshot individual stocks or accumulating some crypto large caps.

Quit berating people for being jumpy, FOMO and panic selling are extremely difficult instincts to take. It took me close to a decade of trial and error in my 20s to get into the right mindset and rhythm to even be semi-okay at it. Some twitchy minor retail investors aren't the ones that are going to make or break a bull run really, no need to browbeat them into some sort of collusion mentality, we all have wildly different lives with varying exit strategies / conditions, because the amount of gains to be life changing are completely different from person to person, as well as the timescale where it might be needed. I personally don't see the need to touch the majority of what I put in for years, maybe decades. If it implodes, oh well, we had a good run, and the reaction I trimmed near peak still got me through some difficult first few months of the pandemic and replaced my wife's lost wedding ring with an upgrade.

It's going to go how it's going to go, the real basis of the value is on the stability, speed, and security of the technology, combined with the network effect of mainstream sentiment and easily applicable use cases. Hype and diamond handsing might alter the course slightly, but the value or not is in the fundamental tech and the people honing it
