Food bank

I'm not sure they're going to have alternative food items for you... never hurts to ask, but you could always just hand back whatever you don't want or trade it with someone else.

For the kinds of food they give you, this is what we got two weeks ago about: two chicken cutlets, 4 lunchables (so maybe they'll still have some for your kid), 6 granola bars, 2 cans of veggies, two chicken soup cans, two coconut waters, a box of spinacj, i think a loaf of bread and a loaf of buns, about 6 or 7 lunch meats, a jar of relish, a jar of steak rub, a can of kidney beans, a box of crackers and a bag of potatoes(which actaully werent completely rotten this time, lot's of stuff comes... a little soft... just cut off the bad parts and it's okay, not trying to sound ungrateful, but sometimes the quality is kind of upsetting). I'm probably missing something, but it was a pretty good variety, I think. Yeah I would say that was what we got give or take 3 or 4 cans of something that I cant remember.

Realistically it's probably not going to last you the full two weeks but if you supliment it with some of those .28 pack noodles you can add things here and there to the noodles and make it last a long time.

But with saying that, last time was a good time, but there are times when you get like 8 packs of hotdogs, so hope you like hotdogs (expired over a year ago, but frozen so still good I suppose, I ate them, again, not trying to sound ungrateful, but I'm saying don't expect stuff to be grocery store fresh because it's not going to be). One time we got like 12 big containers of yogurt, and weirdly one time we got a whole big bag of fancy salt, like what am I gunna do with lime hickory smoke jalipeno salt, ahha. Sometimes you just get what you get, you know? Some times are better than others, and I hope what you get is one of the good times. Maybe they'll give you a little something extra if they know you have a little kid, never hurts to ask.

And hey, good luck, it's tough, but you get through it.
