Raytheon is a running joke. Not necessarily for the podcast (it is), but for leftists as a whole.

It's important here to remember that basically everyone on the show, and most of the fan base - are leftists or non-confirming independents, not democrats.

One of the episodes with Cody Johnston has an ad break introduced like: "Hey Cody, what do you think about School Buses?" "Oh... uh. Idk... I hope they get to their destination safely." "Oh no. I'm pitching an ad for our sponsor Raytheon, who makes RS-9 Knife Missles that are just perfect for shredding school busses filled with children in Yemen."

As for the rest. I can't wait, but I'm not there yet.
