For anyone who has suffered from depression, what was something you did that made a noticeable difference?

Seconded, and I don't understand the downvotes.

I have nothing against people who like taking them. If they feel that antidepressants help them then more power to them; I'm glad they've found something that makes them feel okay and I'm glad they're doing better. But the same thing goes for people who don't want to take them and are doing better without them. Why downvote someone who figured out what does and doesn't work for them and who's doing better because of it? Not everyone likes the lethargy, insomnia, and emotional dumbness that comes with SSRIs. There's nothing wrong with not wanting to take them if they just make you more depressed.
