That's.... Horrible..... That's another huge misconception. Don't just count calories, that shits not healthy. You're supposed to be eating to be healthy not to just try and lose weight to look good cus there is NOTHING good about eating chemical stuffed shit like count chocula or Nutella.... My GF is a holistic nutritionist. Since dating her I now eat MORE than I ever have but am in WAY better shape and I don't count a single calorie cus well I don't have to. The difference is eating good whole foods. I still eat steak and shit and lots of chicken I just have a fuck tonne of veggies with it too. It's also how you eat. 6 smaller meals is way better than a few big meals as it keeps your metabolism going.

My routine is usually something like: -Warm lemon water first thing (helps digestion) -Smoothie and cold oats with fruit in the morning -Coffee after the smoothie is done -Usually some fruit or something around 10 -Lunch is anything from a chicken ceaser salad to a tuna sandwich, even steak sandwich or chicken breast with some veggies, that sort of stuff but it's good whole grain breads if any (more seeds and shit the better too!) and sauces, a lot of hearty soups or stews in the winter (decent sized portions for lunch cus I work an outdoor labour job) - trail mix or something around 2-3 - dinner, too many options to list but everything is made from scratch. Think things like steak and veggies to chicken to Sheppard's pie and curry's. Also decent sized portions for dinner cus I'm an active 6'3 220lb manbeast. - another snack around 8-9 (usually more fruit or something cus I still have those stupid sugar cravings)

Then don't forget to have like 1-1.5 cheat days a week cus it's all about balance. Your diet for the week should end at about 80-20. 80% good 20% bad foods. Cus you will go insane and weaken your bodies ability to eat certain things if you don't eat a bit of crap here and there. You wanna keep your body healthy but still tough lol I eat all this shit and don't count a single calorie and am in the best shape of my life. I will admit though that if I eat full force and aren't as active as normal (say I had a week off work and wasn't getting out much) I can see my gut tries to re-create itself so NEVER under estimate the importance of excersize. I just lower my usually still big lunch and dinner portions when this happens and everything is fine. Sorry I know I kinda just went off ranting even though it wasn't asked for but I hate when people just think rationing shitty food and calorie counting is the answer. You'll give yourself cancer and just be miserable cus you're never really satisfied with your food intake eating that shit. So stop starving yourself! Eat more fuller healthier meals and you'll feel and look way better! Just remember to stay active too!
