I agree with you, however, I think it'd bea better idea to put a base price of, let's say $5, and that would be the minimum.

I'm sure a lot of people would contribute donating more than that base of $5, and a lot of players who can't afford it because they don't work or are underage would be able to donate.

It's not a $15 dollar contribution but it's better than not contributing.

The skin is the least important here, so it shouldn't matter if you donated $5 or $250, the important is that you did something becasue you care and you can.

One of my best friends is battling with cancer since more than a year now. Members of my family went through that unfair shit, I get how much it sucks. But it's really easy to defend what blizzard's doing saying "it's to beat cancer, stop complaining".

Well in my opinion yes, there are some selfish assholes out there, which I assume it's who you are referring your post to, but that's not the mayority.

If the skin is not important and it's just to do the right thing, let people donate whatever amount they can afford and they want.
