No, it's absolutely dumb. In terms of overall DPS, you're positively crippling yourself if you try to prevent your attacks from hitting more than three people.

I haven't ever played the Switch version. I don't have any opinion on it, one way or another... to wit, I came to this thread looking to be educated. Instead, I've got one guy insisting that PC users have macros, another that hasn't reasoned out how his DPS works, and yet a third that evidently just wants to antagonize me.
